Registration in Pure
Pure (opens in a new tab) is the system UvA uses to create reports and research evaluations and to associate researchers with their work, e.g. for their UvA profile, on their ORCID page, and in the UvA-DARE repository.
The University Library has resources on registering research output (opens in a new tab).
The majority of research outputs at IvI are in the form of:
- Papers
- Datasets
- Software
In theory, these research outputs can be imported automatically into Pure (opens in a new tab), after some minimal initial setup by you.
- Go to your Personal Overview (opens in a new tab) in Pure.
- Click "Edit profile" under your profile picture.
- Click "Automated search" from the navigation bar on the left.
- Click "Enable automated search" for Scopus (the most relevant source for Computer Science research).
In practice, this automation may not always work. We are working on improving it. In that case, follow the instructions below to register your research outputs yourself.
If you have further questions on how to use Pure, please contact the Pure Helpdesk at pure@uva.nl.
